NOTICE

This mod not installing correctly via Curse client, a manual install is necessary. Ticket submitted to Curse. To install manually, unzip the gui and scripts directory into the res_mos/0.8.7 directory. Do not unzip the cursemod directory it is not needed by the game.

This mod contains the following features:

Sniper Multi-Level Zoom

Stock in game sniper uses 3 levels (2 power, 4 power, 8 power) this adds additional levels and increases the magnification of the higher levels

Current zoom settings are 2, 4, 8, 16

Uses the following file:

• res_mods/0.8.x/script/client/AvatarInpuHandler/DynamicCameras/AracadeCamera.pyc
• res_mods/0.8.x/script/client/AvatarInpuHandler/DynamicCameras/SniperCamera.pyc
• res_mods/0.8.x/script/client/AvatarInpuHandler/DynamicCameras/StrategicCamera.pyc
• res_mods/0.8.x/gui/ZoomX.xml is configuration and control file

To make configuration changes (read disclaimer)

• Open res_mods/0.8.x/gui/zoomx.xml file with Notepad or Notepad Plus, DO NOT use Wordpad
• In line 4, change <zooms>2 4 8 16<zooms>, change as appropriate (2 6 10 24) as an example. 30 is max allowed zoom.
• You will also have to change the to the same values in line 199 of res_mods/0.8.x/gui/avatar_input_handler.xml <zooms>2 4 8 16<zooms>
• If you DO NOT want the Dynamic Sight, then rename res_mods/0.8.x/gui avatar_input_handler.xml to _avatar_input_handler.xml (add _) and then rename res_mods/0.8.x/gui avatar_input_handler_nodynamic.xml to res_mods/0.8.x/gui avatar_input_handler.xml

Camera Zoom

Provides ability for "high overhead" or satellite view.

Uses the following file:

• res_mods/0.8.x/script/client/AvatarInpuHandler/DynamicCameras/AracadeCamera.pyc
• res_mods/0.8.x/script/client/AvatarInpuHandler/DynamicCameras/SniperCamera.pyc
• res_mods/0.8.x/script/client/AvatarInpuHandler/DynamicCameras/StrategicCamera.pyc
• res_mods/0.8.x/gui/avatarinputhandler.xml is configuration and control file

I do not recommend modifying this unless you are very famaliar with mods and know xml (see disclaimer)

No Scroll

NOW OPTIONAL - OFF BY DEFAULT

IF YOU USE YOUR MOUSE SCROLL WHEEL TO ZOOM INTO SNIPER MODE READ BELOW BEFORE ENABLING THIS FEATURE

Disables the automatic change from Sniper Mode to Arcade Mode and vise versa by the scroll wheel. You can only switch between the modes by using the specified key (default is SHIFT). Using the SHIFT key prevents you zooming in/out and changes the zoom level unintended REMEMBERS the exact setting both in arcade and sniper view allowing you to switch between them with shift instantly.

Uses the following file:

• res_mods/0.8.x/gui/NoScroll.xml is configuration and control file

To enable the mod, rename the delete the res_mods/0.8.x/gui/_NoScroll.xml file to res_mods/0.8.x/gui/NoScroll.xml file (remove the underline _ )

Scope Shaow Remover

If you install ServerCross and start locking up on Battle Loading screen, remove the ServerCross mod.

Installation

Use the Curse client to install, it puts everything where it should go.

For manual open the zip file and place the gui and scripts directories in the res_mods/0.8.x directory. Do not copy the cursmod directory, it is not used by the game, only the Curse client.
